Weekly Homework tasks
All children will have a variety of optional homework tasks they may wish to complete over the half term (1 per week).
Alongside this children will be sent weekly phonics and maths homework.
Green homework books:
The green homework books are to share any home learning such as letter or number formation etc..
We also love to read about/ see pictures of any achievements outside of school.
Reading at Home:
Children are encouraged to read to parents as frequently as possible to develop their reading and comprehension skills.
A reading record can be found in your child’s book bag. It should be completed by an adult to record reading at home.
As reading is so important in your child's early education, we reccomend that all children and parents sign up for a free reading account on Oxford Owl.
The website provides you with access to many online e-books that your child can read for enjoyment at home.
